Knowledge is the best weapon against violence, get the point.

Our organization has documented successful results and has won more than seventy awards. In 2001 President Bill Clinton honored our mission with the Presidential Daily Light Award. Furthermore our US organization has won the award for Best Practice five times from different official US organizations such as the American National Safety Council, and the Weed & Seed Award 2009 sponsored by the U.S. Department of Justice.
In 1997 Rotary International honored the Non-Violence Project with the Paul Harris Fellow Award for its "efforts to curb youth violence around the world". "The Non-Violence Project will join a most distin¬guished group of Paul Harris Fellows around the world. Other notable Paul Harris Fellows include; Yitzhak Rabin, President Hosni Mubarak, President Bill Clinton, Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, President Mary Robinson, King Olav of Norway and Queen Silvia of Sweden."EXTRACT OF PRESS INFORMATION
FROM ROTARY INTERNATIONAL
"It is imperative that we take some time reach out to at-risk youth as well as all youth in our community. It is people like yourself, and programmes such as The Non-Violence Project, that help bridge that gap in our community by removing all the negative and replacing it with positive. Not only are your community actions well received by the youth, but also complimentary to everyone, young and old alike, in the community."EXTRACT OF LETTER FROM
ALEX PENELAS, MAYOR OF MIAMI
"Over the past few month, this school hall has been the venue for funeral services for many a victim of the violence; an apt place to lay the demons to rest with the launch of the Non-Violence Project. This ground-breaking project originated in Western Europe and centers around the concept of self-empowerment or ‘fix-it-yourself’. Young field workers will recruit members of the student body to become ‘peace ambassadors’ in their own schools." CHRISTINA KENNEDY, JOURNALIST, JOHANNESBURG

The Raoul Wallenberg Academy for Young LeadersRaoul Wallenberg Academy for Young Leaders, a Swedish Trust, is honouring
Raoul Wallenberg by since 2001 running a programme for high school students in Sweden.
